The Conductor Takt Asahina, the Musicart Cosette and Anna Schneider are on an ongoing trip across America to reach New York Symphonica. At one of their stops, Takt and Cosette visited a bustling town that kept a poorly-secured upright piano, and Takt was tempted to play it in the presence of Jimmy, a boy living in a nearby trailer park with his mother Mary. Takt's playing soon alerted the presence of a D2 outside of town, and a fight broke out between the D2 and Takt. With the help of Takt's power as a Conductor, Cosette transformed into Destiny and she quickly defeated the D2, but they are forced to leave when Anna eventually found them. The three stopped over at a diner along the route to New York Symphonica, where they learned from the diner's owner that the road ahead is near a former settlement now infested with D2. Cosette immediately agreed to defeat all of the D2 by herself, but she was taken aback by the presence of a stronger D2 and had to be rescued by Anna. Not wanting to take a detour south, Takt decided to take on the remaining D2 with Cosette. After Cosette returned to the town from earlier to retrieve the piano, and she traveled with Takt to the D2 nest that night. Here, they lured the nearby D2 using Takt's piano performance, then went on the attack as soon as the larger D2, empowered by the Dark-Night Meteorite, emerged. With the help of Takt's powers as Conductor, Cosette successfully defeated the powerful D2. After clearing their most recent hurdle to New York Symphonica, Takt played the piano for one last time before continuing on their journey with Cosette and Anna. (Source: Takt Op. Wiki)
