In Romeo and Juliet, Shakespeare creates a violent world, in which two young people fall in love. It is not simply that their families disapprove; the Montagues and the Capulets are engaged in a blood feud.

In this death-filled setting, the movement from love at first sight to the lovers’ final union in death seems almost inevitable. And yet, this play set in an extraordinary world has become the quintessential story of young love. In part because of its exquisite language, it is easy to respond as if it were about all young lovers.

There is no sadder story in the world... and then we all know... this amazing work of the great classic William Shakespeare has probably been read by every teenager. You bet. It is very relevant even after more than 400 years. And all this is because the problems and experiences of a teenager are about the same as in 1595, as they are today. There are two heroes who accidentally fall in love with each other, but it turns out that they belong to families that are at war with each other. And very much so. A beautiful tie that only adds drama to everything that happens next. In my opinion, the love story of a young man and a girl is seriously embellished, but why not. To remember myself at their age. Then it seems that love at first sight exists, it inspires you, makes you strong, and you will not listen to anyone around, even if their advice is correct. After all, this is a feeling of falling in love, but not love. But this can be said from the point of view of their life experience, and for Romeo and Juliet, such an experience was fleeting and insidious, which is why they thought they were in love at first sight. Another point is the rapidity of the events that take place in the book. Sometimes you think that somehow all this is unrealistic, and then you focus on the fact that it happened 400+ years ago, and in general it is an artistic work. It's not reality at all. Of course, classics are classics, and they are worth reading. Not only because it is a classic work, but also to draw some conclusions for yourself. After all, it often happens that an adult lacks that youthful maximalism when you are ready to rush at everyone and everything, to take a risk, not even in terms of love, but in general life. On the other hand, such behavior can be regarded even by oneself as something irrational and immature. I mean, no matter how you look at it, this is an instructive story with its living characters who are fighting for their happiness and continue to believe that everything will work out for them. Shakespeare gave the world an amazing work, albeit a little fabulous, often not very logical, but this story will absolutely always be on everyone's lips, as an example of the fact that children / teenagers have feelings and this should not be forgotten in order to avoid possible tragedies. 9 out of 10
