Michio Haruta spends all his time working at the go-kart track, trying to set the speed record at Chabatake Kart Land, and dethrone the Formula 1 racer Shingo Akagi. Once he does so, an encounter with Akagi sets him on the path to becoming a top F1 racer himself!
