Kim Min-Su, a 35-year-old salaryman at an ordinary company, lives a monotonous life. He has a girlfriend, but his days blur together as he endures a borderline-abusive boss and trudges through work. One day, while on a date, he runs into a middle school classmate. Luxury car, beautiful partner, glamorous lifestyle: everything Min-Su isn't. Consumed by feelings of inferiority, he impulsively makes an investment that, against all odds, becomes wildly successful. Now a multimillionaire, he reinvents everything: his job, his relationship, his home. A new life begins. Yet somehow, the dream life he's obtained feels strangely hollow.
