Kouhan no Tsubame

Shanghai, 1920. Amidst the unstable situation, Shion, a student engrossed in reading the newspaper, is approached by a woman. Her name is Shuliang. A military wife, she asks the cultured Shion to write a letter for her. As their words exchange, the two are drawn to each other, even as they clash at times. However, the reality that the future cannot be promised and the inevitable changes of the times painfully tear their feelings apart.
