The Other Captain America
The second film about an American national hero is an order of magnitude higher than the first. Now the modern society appears before the audience, where spies, dangerous villains appear at literally every turn, and no one has to be trusted. It was this production of the picture by the Russo brothers that turned the comic book film into a good spy thriller with a well-thought-out plot and rich events. All this is "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".
The film voices several messages at once and develops them. However, the most important thing for me was the relationship between Cap and his long-deceased comrade Bucky, who appears here as an antagonist and tries in every possible way to annoy a former friend.
Actors Chris Evans and Sebastian Stan perfectly transformed from best friends into rivals. The Winter Soldier is lightning fast, an uncompromising killer who clearly acts according to plan, stopping at nothing. A great car for elimination, which was elegantly performed by the actor. Captain America is once again a cheerful soldier who continues his attempts to get used to the modern world. It's hard for him because none of his old friends are around anymore. The actor is dramatic, especially in the scene of the meeting with Peggy. And very coolly he conveys the contradictory feelings of his hero when he recognizes his old friend in the killer.
The film teaches you to be a friend until the very end, shows how strong a man's friendship can be, that even when everything is against it, even your friend who doesn't remember you, you have to give him a chance, save him, rescue him from the captivity of amnesia.
The film introduces new characters into the narrative. They play not the last roles in the development of the main characters, and fans are happy to see them on the big screen.
The plot of the film offers an interesting interpretation of two opposing organizations — Shield and Hydra. To tell the truth, the twist does not quite fit in my head, but it is quite perceived. And you begin to rethink everything that used to be in the cinematic universe.
The quality of the staged scenes is beyond doubt. This film surpasses even The Avengers in terms of chases, explosions, shootouts and fights. It feels like it was done for real, there are a minimum of computer effects, because the directors tried to create a real picture. And they certainly succeeded. And viewers like it when they are shown real explosions and fights.
This film touches on important topics. He tells us that we should always look at who your friend is, who your employer is (if I may say so, who has seen the film will understand). Not always good guys are good guys, and bad guys are bad. Our world is not black and white. It is rather gray, because there is no other way.
