The Rise of the Iron Man 2008. It's been so long. And no one imagined that Marvel would build a famous film universe that would set the fashion. The appearance of the Marvel comics blockbuster did not surprise anyone. True, the hero was not the most famous — Iron Man. But it was before the release of the screens that he was. The movie immediately sets up the fact that the viewer got to an action adventure with elements of comedy, a kind of Indiana Jones, only modern, with computer effects, looking into the future of technological discoveries. The plot is not very twisted. There is a good guy, Tony Stark, there is his rival, Obadiah Stein, in whose face you can immediately read — the future enemy of Iron Man. Robert Downey Jr. and Jeff Bridges look decent on the screen against each other. Each of them is charismatic. Downey takes a certain sloppiness, rebelliousness, but at the same time with the right thoughts. He is cheerful, but when it is necessary he approaches the matter seriously. And these moods and moments change very soon, turning in one direction, then in another. Bridges, on the contrary. He is cold-blooded, he feels an icy miscalculation and a desire to bypass his counterpart. Stark seems to be struggling with himself. At one point, he realizes that his developments are bringing destruction to humanity, creating weapons from which people kill each other. And that's not what he wanted. The actor shows this well in the image he plays: the struggle within himself, the desire to change and turn the vector of development of his company in a different direction, but at the same time creates his own suit to be a defender. Such an internal struggle looks interesting. The script and direction allow you to enjoy this confrontation. I would also like to mention the beautiful Gwyneth Peltrow, who perfectly fit into the superhero movie. Her Pepper Potts is beautiful, charming, determined and vulnerable. And every scene with her is an ornament of this work. Visual effects are at a height. The creators definitely bet on them. We entered the graphics very organically. After all, this is essentially our modern world, but with an admixture of futurism, where Stark technologies have stepped far ahead, allowing you to see new weapons, new gadgets and, of course, the Iron Man suit. The music of Ramin Javadi is very useful. When, after his work in Game of Thrones, you review the first bile, you involuntarily listen more to the music. It is excellent and sustained in the tone of the film. The film "Iron Man" looks great as an independent work. It should have been so, but the creators went further, showing us behind the scenes a bold hint of the future "Avengers", thereby interesting the audience even more. 8 out of 10
