King T'Challa returns home to the reclusive, technologically advanced African nation of Wakanda to serve as his country's new leader. However, T'Challa soon finds that he is challenged for the throne by factions within his own country as well as without. Using powers reserved to Wakandan kings, T'Challa assumes the Black Panther mantle to join with ex-girlfriend Nakia, the queen-mother, his princess-kid sister, members of the Dora Milaje (the Wakandan 'special forces') and an American secret agent, to prevent Wakanda from being dragged into a world war.

Do we need this superhero? The Marvel cinematic universe is gaining momentum. And he does it every year. Project after project, more and more interesting. The viewer is led to a certain climax, giving out film after film, introducing new superheroes and developing already familiar ones. However, in all this leapfrog and intricacies, you often do not notice that the studio sometimes runs out of steam, maybe even saves energy for the final breakthrough. And in order to "fill the ether", follow the fashion, comes up with how to weave a new hero into the story — a Black Panther, which will attract the attention of the world because of the modern tolerant attitude towards African-Americans. And as a result, an unprecedented box office and even Oscar nominations, which, in my purely personal opinion, is absolutely undeserved. We were introduced to the Panther in the movie about Captain America. It turned out well. In the same film, the character is revealed, introduced to his country. The creators perfectly showed how wonderful the world of Wakanda is from a technological point of view, the main question is raised — the openness of achievements to the rest of the world. Everyone will draw their own parallel, but I saw the message that it is impossible to hide from the world what can help it become more modern and progressive. However, we must not forget that any technology can become a weapon for the destruction of the masses in the wrong hands. On the other hand, the whole film does not leave the feeling that it was created to order, it follows the fashion in terms of hype on racial tolerance. Here is a fashionable soundtrack of rap artists' compositions, showing that the black population is no worse than the white one. Yes, people already know that. It has long been proven that skin color does not matter. But now it's fashionable to discuss it and make films about African heroes has also become fashionable. The fundamentals of undeserved success are clearly visible: the laudatory odes of critics, fashionable tolerance. I am absolutely fine with all people. We are all equal, but when a film does not shine with a plot, and an ordinary villain is called the best in the film universe, then you involuntarily begin to dislike the presented material even more. The hero of Tchalla differs from himself in "Civil War". There he was shown to one, here to a completely different one. He is different and it catches your eye when you don't see the wild rage that was, perseverance and zeal. In the solo album, there is a certain attempt to show the drama, the formation of a hero. It is understandable. That's what the film was created for. But in the end, the overall picture is somewhat ragged, and the main character causes nothing but boredom. Just like the main villain. Visually, the film is good. Beautiful frames, the splendor of color saturation. Especially in the world where the main character got and saw his father. The sound is excellent, the operator's work is excellent. But all this fades anyway, since the plot is not memorable, which once again makes me think that this film was created on the wave of fashion, in an attempt to catch up with its billion (which definitely succeeded), and the film is hacky. It was made quickly, thoughtlessly, not impressive. Well, his fabulous Oscar nominations ... is this really the film that became the FIRST nominee from superheroics for Best Film? What? Where is the Dark Knight who could really deserve a nomination? It's all frustrating. Like Marvel with a similar project. The result for me is a passing movie. The film that I put in the last place among all the films of the cinematic universe. It's for one time. The characters were not impressed, as was the story itself. 7 out of 10
