A new actor is an updated character
It's no secret that Tom Holland joined the Marvel cinematic universe in the role of spider, when this superhero was already well known from the previous two series of films. And because of this, there were and still are some difficulties in his perception. Fans of superhero movies still remember Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in this role. For this reason, it was more difficult for Holland. After all, you need to bring something new and interesting to your hero. And he coped by joining the already sensational franchise.
Spider-Man is one of the most famous superheroes in the world. He is a teenager who is just starting his life journey. This is why younger fans of comic films show interest in this character, because the same problems that Peter Parker faces are relevant for them. And it is for this reason, as I believe, that the plot of the picture is built quite simply and uncomplicated. Especially when compared with the film "Civil War", where Parker first appears in the film universe. There is a hero, there is a villain and a couple of twists in a family relationship. And that's not bad. The viewer enjoys a beautiful picture, great sound, follows the life of young Peter, without being distracted by any particularly dramatic wisdom. However, there is enough drama in the film. Marvel is good because they organically weave important life issues and issues of human relations into the plots of their films.
This Peter Parker is much more like a teenager with his problems with girls than the more adult and often dull heroes of Maguire and Garfield. No. Those films are also good, but this approach of Holland and the screenwriters shows us a lighter and even realistic version of the Spider, which is undoubtedly interesting to watch. There is a lot of humor, great jokes and comical situations. Spider-Man is a good and positive guy, often clumsy and funny. Such a hero fits well into situations when viewing which you yourself feel awkward and sometimes even uncomfortable for a guy. And this already means that the hero is well-developed, the actor copes with the task that the creators of the project set for him.
An interesting approach is the representation of Iron Man as the mentor of Spider-Man. It looks fresh on the screen and quite organic. Stark's statement alone: "Don't do what I wouldn't do and certainly don't do what I do" (something like this) makes the hero confused, as well as the audience. Good Aunt May and Peter's friend Ned. The actors play perfectly, fit seamlessly into this story.
I think this movie is a great blockbuster. Its obvious advantage is a modern look at Spider—Man, who uses gadgets, uses not only his agility and intelligence, but also an amazing set of functions of the suit. There are no repetitions of events from previous films about this hero in this film. And that's right. You are watching a picture about a new hero of the cinematic universe, but you are already perfectly familiar with him. It makes no sense to show the birth of a hero for the third time. The creators showed an excellent action, the relationship of a growing guy with a mentor, the first independent steps of the hero and the consequences for which he himself is responsible. Everything is sustained and interesting. This is how an entertaining Marvel movie should be.
