The song "Die another day" was performed by the very popular singer Madonna at that time, which added to her popularity even more. The picture also received mutual PR, because the music track was played endlessly on the radio with enviable constancy. The song is really great, it is still associated with the film, never having existed for me as a separate work without a picture about Agent 007. Madonna, by the way, played one of the minor roles in the project. It turned out well. The plot of the picture really abounds this time with the masterful moves of nimble screenwriters. This time, Bondiana takes a vector on the theme of North Korea. A fresh start to the film, the story of which one way or another will revolve around the illegal sale of weapons to the West from this corner of the world. Bond will initially be defeated, but as often happens with such heroes, he will eventually emerge victorious from the situation. But more plot twists, this film is of course remembered in a big way. At the time of creation, this painting was the most expensive in the series. $142 million was spent. This "Bond" also collected more than any previous painting. And we will be able to see everything spent on the screen. This is unprecedented action, gorgeous chases and shootouts, beautiful places, impressive gadgets, a gorgeous Bond car and a very dubious use of computer graphics, which in today's era of high resolution looks even worse than when I saw this film on other media. Fantastic locations are presented to the audience. The final huge residential building made of ice is very memorable. It was done very beautifully and raised questions from the point of view of the realism of the construction of such a structure. However, this film leaves out a stream of questions and complaints about him, but simply allows you to enjoy the drive of what is happening on the screen. The cast is good. Here, every hero and villain fits perfectly into the narrative. I would especially like to mention Halle Berry and Rosamund Pike. Each actress perfectly conveys the character of her character, the storylines are written with dignity, each of the heroines evokes sympathy. The characters performed by Toby Stevens and Rick Yun are also remembered. Charismatic characters, each of which significantly influences the plot and is really well-developed. It is impossible not to mention Judi Dench. Her character M, as always, is on top. "Die Another Day" becomes an excellent conclusion to this incarnation of Bond. Pierce Brosnan, in my opinion, jumped over his head with this picture, putting a bold end to the Bond story of the 1990s. However, such a film looks quite unrealistic and overly fantastic, which, again, in my opinion, was perfectly corrected in the new James Bond arch, where Daniel Craig and his fifteen-year presence on the big screens have already taken the main role. The same film is worthy of attention. A weighty action movie with a huge number of beautiful locations, powerful shootouts and chases, and a memorable plot.
