It is immediately noticeable that the movie is deeper than the previous two films in the series. The tone has changed noticeably, there is even a gloominess (hello from DC?). The main theme that I saw for myself was the life of a man Tony Stark after he had been in a cosmic alteration, realized that he and his world are not one in the universe. Probably, this may be the reaction of a mere mortal. It's not every day you fight hordes of alien invaders side by side with a godlike blond alien from another dimension, a soldier from another time, a scientist irradiated with gamma rays and others. All this does not fit well in Stark's head, and he falls into depression, trying to realize what will happen next in his world. Robert Downey Jr. perfectly demonstrates all this on the screen, involuntarily you yourself begin to plunge into a similar state and wonder if the world of superheroes is so beautiful and cloudless? The hand of another director is also felt, which noticeably distinguishes the third film from the first two by Jon Favreau. Shane Black was the leader here. He is well remembered for the movie "Lethal Weapon". Here the director brought something from the militants of previous years, successfully flavoring the film with modern trends. This picture finally focuses on Tony Stark, and not on Iron Man. The hero's thoughts, experiences, reasoning and the constant mute question of what will happen next are well shown. All this unfolds against the background of the appearance in the franchise of the long-awaited villain Mandarin. Unfortunately, he did not live up to the expectations placed on him, but what can I do. The vector of the cinematic universe took a different path. Ben Kingsley is good, but the role of Guy Pearce is much more important. Handsome, strong and determined. His villain looks very decent against Stark's background, poses almost unsolvable problems to Tony and it feels like Stark is on the verge of death the whole movie. And at some point you realize that you are not watching a superhero entertainment movie, about which you can then talk with friends with laughter. This is a new stage for superheroics. Now you see that the main character is an ordinary person. Yes, rich and smart, but still a man. He is vulnerable, not omnipotent, has his flaws and problems. And that's why Tony becomes even closer to the audience, although he is already adored more than others. The rest of the heroes are in place. And just as good as before. Happy still puts on airs, although it is difficult to perceive him not without a smile. After all, he has become a friend and helper for us. Pepper is beautiful because Peltrow is beautiful. Cheadle is still important as Tony's friend. There are no heroes that could be crossed out and not lost in the plot. Each of them is important for us to see Stark from all sides. The final part of "Iron Man" seems to put an end to Stark's solo albums, but the hero continues to develop. The film is good, strong and dramatic. And it is definitely worth the viewer's attention. 7 out of 10
