A new challenge and a new victory for Pixar Pixar became famous for its "Toy Story" after a wide distribution around the world. Despite the fact that the brand was in the shadow of the titan of the Disney industry, and their cooperation at first looked like the dominance of the latter over the former, Pixar managed to gain popularity and conclude a new successful contract with the big-eared. Now the company has become several positions higher, coming to the fore with its projects, as if not shy of the more famous Mickey Mouse studio. Interestingly, the second cartoon was supposed to appear immediately on media, bypassing wide distribution. This scheme has already been used at Disney. And very successfully. However, the story of the second cartoon about Woody, Buzz Lightyear and their community impressed the Disney management, and the main actors Tom Hanks and Tim Allen pushed the studio so that Toy Story 2 became a rolling tape. John Lasseter, one of the creators of the Pixar studio, managed to convince the bosses of the big-eared to remake the picture, change the script so that the story becomes more convincing. At first, the man received refusals. After all, there was simply no time for such a large-scale change, and related products and the rest of the promotion program were already launched. It was impossible to transfer the project. But Lasseter still got his way. And the world saw exactly the option that we all know today. The second part, of course, was much more beautiful than the first cartoon. Over the years, computer technology has become much better. But in addition to visual improvements, the plot component has also undergone changes. The story of the cartoon explores new topical issues both for the characters of the work and for the audience. The plot reveals to us the past of cowboy Woody, literally crossing out his entire familiar world. Various new knowledge falls upon the main character, he rethinks himself and will be ready to make a choice to continue living the way he decides. This whole story is laced with a lot of interesting plot twists that happen not only to Woody, but also to other characters. Lightyear will meet his doppelgangers, the nightmare scene will surely amaze, and the new heroine Jessie will amaze with her musical part, conveying emotions through a song, which, in my opinion, has become another decoration of this cartoon. The story of this toy will be a kind of prophecy for every cartoon character. And here the topic of growing up of children is raised, which will show that his toys grow up with the child. Woody will have to accept this truth, making another discovery for himself. And then the brave cowboy will make his main choice. Should he stay in a new place in order to be the object of universal joy of unknown to him, but numerous viewers, or should he return to Andy, his master and friend, the one he loves so much. The choice is not easy, but it is mandatory. It is perfectly conveyed to us, the audience. It will be interesting to see this inner struggle of a toy cowboy. The project came out strong. The creators have worked hard again, complicating the task for themselves both technically and artistically. The audience will be presented with a lot of new locations, a more dynamic narrative, and many new characters will be added to the existing ones, while revealing them well enough and paying due attention to each character in the picture. "Toy Story 2" has become an excellent sequel, which is in no way inferior to the original. Some even believe that the cartoon surpassed the first part in all respects and put the picture in that small series of sequels that became better than the first picture. This project has become an important moment for the studio itself. After all, it was the work on Toy Story 2 that allowed the company to restructure, stop dividing its work into main and secondary, value its employees, and change the work model.
