Who are you? It's simple — Jackie Chan
A master and an undeniable phenomenon of his time, Jackie Chan gave fans around the world an amazing number of wonderful roles in the most excellent films. As viewers and admirers of his works, we are well aware of the maestro's corporate identity. The actor's works provide an opportunity to enjoy the variety and splendor of each work. "Who am I?" was no exception.
The unusual plot allows you to see Jackie's character in an unusual role. After an unsuccessful military operation, the hero loses his memory. This is where all his adventures start, when the obvious question of the hero, "Who am I?", the man gets this name in Africa. Over time, the main character will have to unravel a difficult case and make sure to make a lot of wild somersaults, as he knows how.
This film is without a doubt an ornament in the genre of action comedy. Chan acted not only as the main actor of the project, but also assumed the duties of director and screenwriter. It turned out great. The plot is memorable, pleasing with its unpredictability and a certain novelty. The film feels the soul and skillful maneuvering between the usual comedy genre and a large-scale action movie, which is crowned by the most famous scene of the duel between the hero of Jackie Chan and two skilled opponents on the roof of a building, which sometimes pulls to review somewhere on the Internet. A great fight that looks very naturalistic. There is no doubt about this, because such things are really created with sweat and blood. This approach allows the viewer to experience the whole scene.
The film will delight you with diverse locations. The creators took a responsible approach to presenting different cultures to the public, and the scenes in Africa are interesting. All the others are not far behind. The film, as is typical of Jackie's paintings, is replete with a variety of tricks, chases, shootouts, fights and, of course, the ability of the main character to use different objects in an unusual way. Only old Jackie can do that. He is still good, although at the time of filming the actor was almost 45 years old. The enviable skills and magnificent form of a man makes it possible to do everything that the viewer sees on the screen.
"Who am I?" is one of Jackie Chan's most memorable works for me personally. A strong action movie, large-scale scenes, a non-trivial plot with a lot of funny moments. That's why I love the actor's work. This is an excellent project that lives outside of time and will always be a good option both for exploring the work of Master Jackie and for another viewing of this painting on one of the days.
