Sophie Kenny is a Director and Assistant Director with both British and Canadian heritage, she lives and works in London, UK.

In 2021 Sophie directed the short film 'Bach is Blue' starring Victoria Emslie (Downton Abbey, The Theory of Everything), the film premiered at Latitude Festival, and also was Official Selection at 'New York Flash Film Festival', 'Bucharest ShortCut CineFest', 'Toronto Minute Madness'. It also won at 'Berlin Flash Film Festival June 2021 in category 'Best Experimental Film'. Sophie also was interviewed by Aesthetica Short Film Festival in December 2021 for the film. Her film 'Tippet' has gone on to be screened at several international film festivals including the 'Early Bird' Film Festival in Bulgaria, and has won several awards including 'Best Director' at the 48 Hour Film Challenge Awards. Sophie directed the commercial 'Saudade', which competed at several international commercial festivals in the UK, USA and Japan including the 'Kodak Nahemi Commercial Awards', 'Saudade' picked up the 'Best Commercial' at the Hollywood Sky Film Festival awards in 2016. Sophie also runs the liquid light show -'Astral Projections'
