He is a Japanese animator, illustrator, and manga artist. He graduated from Kuwasawa Design School and went on to join Toppan Idea Center as a package designer. Four years later, he left the company. After leaving the company he debuted with his picture book "Aritosuka" and went on to become an illustrator and picture book writer. He also published many manga works in the manga magazine Garo. In the 1990s he started working as an animator and worked on OVAs such as "A Piece of Phantasmagoria," "Kujira no Chouyaku" and "Ginga no Uo Ursa Minor Blue." Other than that he also works on illustrations for TV shows and animated works on a regular basis.
