Hiroko Utsumi is a Japanese director and animator.

Utsumi is best known for her work with [Kyoto Animation](https://anilist.co/studio/2/), particularly as the original director of [Free!](https://anilist.co/anime/18507/), and for her later work at [MAPPA](https://anilist.co/studio/569/), where she directed [Banana Fish](https://anilist.co/anime/100388/).
