The season follows Alex, the new 18-year-old outsider in the quiet village of Posthoorn. Her life is turned upside down when Sephine Voorthuizen, the popular "Queen Bee," jumps to her death from a tower after a school party. While the community quickly dismisses the event as a tragic case of slut-shaming gone wrong, Alex is frustrated by the hypocrisy and suspects there is a darker truth behind Sephine's suicide. She launches a private investigation to find the true culprit responsible for Sephine's death.
