Who is Angel and what happened to her? These questions face disgraced investigative journalist, Joe Start, as he probes the case of a recently awakened coma patient who remembers nothing of her past. Start’s quest for the truth takes him from his rural backwater exile to the heart of politics in Westminster, where an embattled party leader fights to survive and a secret Machiavellian conspiracy threatens the nation’s democracy.
